Anyone can get rich even if you're poor

My Background: No Privilege, Just Determination

I wasn’t born into wealth. My granny on my father’s side worked in sugar cane fields, part of the legacy of our ancestors brought to South Africa to work on plantations. My granny on my mother’s side was a maid, working tirelessly to make ends meet.

Both my parents worked in automotive factories — my mom on the assembly line, my dad as an auto electrician.

Did this sound like privilege? Not at all.

Overcoming Poverty: From Hardship to Hope

Fast forward to when I was 17, after my parents’ divorce. We faced tough times. My mother wasn’t working, and the money my father sent was either not enough, or was spent irresponsibly.

Living in poverty was a nightmare. Our house was falling apart — broken windows, overgrown yard, and inside the house was worse.

I remember walking Durban’s streets, handing out resumes, desperate for any job.

Eventually, I found work as a cashier at Woolworths and began my climb upward.

My Determination: You Can Achieve Wealth Too

I knew one thing for sure: I was not going to stay poor or rely on others for basic needs like food, shelter, or water.

I worked a lot, weekdays, weekends, days and nights. While friends partied, I studied, determined to change my life, even without knowing exactly where I was headed.

It Doesn’t Have to Be Like This for You

I did the hard work, made mistakes, and tested the market — so you don’t have to. I combined my years of success and failure in marketing, along with corporate leadership experience, to create training that helps you go from struggling to thriving too

Living in South Africa, I’ve seen how our culture and heritage are rich but many people are still trapped in poverty. Basic necessities like water or safety are not available to everyone.

You Can Overcome Poverty: The Time to Act Is Now

If rural communities can find Wi-Fi and a phone despite challenges, so can you. The choice is yours: complain and stay stuck, or take action and change your life.

The truth is, poverty justifies itself through excuses like "money can’t buy happiness" or "material things aren’t important." But I’ve yet to see a hungry, dehydrated person truly happy.

It’s expensive to be alive, happy, and free. The sooner you accept that, the faster you can start your journey to wealth.

My Truth: Success Is Possible for Anyone

It took years of professional help, surrounding myself with successful people, and breaking myths about money I was told growing up. Many who say “money isn’t important” are in debt, hiding from bills, or struggling to afford basics.

I choose a different path — crying in a Lamborghini beats crying in a shelter.
